Georgia Brooks is an upcoming artist who is strongly inspired and has great love for the the American South West culture and landscapes.
Growing up rural in Australia in both farming land and the West Australian desert regions she feels most at home around horses, amazing landscapes and what she fondly refers to as the “big empty.”
She began drawing a bit later in life in her mid twenties. But there found a passion she has not felt before and has not been able to put down the pencil or paint brush since.
Georgia often refers to paintings & drawings of the American West having a “feeling” which is hard to explain but is something she gravitates to.
“I think it’s because it depicts a time before modern society as we know it today, or if it is modern, it still has that remote, back in the day vibe. Which I love.”
